its just meant to be .. me, my baby and bcn.
A girlfriend I met few years ago in Costa del Sol contacted me, telling she is moving to Barcelona and was asking if Im there and when, and if I could give her some tips and hints..
First thing in my mind: soooo cooool!
Julia also has a small boy and its just so funky to have a girlfriend abroad you have known sometime already..and also. Its cool to speak your own language as well sometimes.. Bcn is nothing like Costa del Sol, that place is full of Finnish people and sometimes I got a feeling I had to hide to not to hear my language.. in Barcelona.. you never see or hear Finnish unless you go find it yourself. Sometimes I heard turists at supermarkets or just on the streets speaking Finnish and smiled thinking " hihii.. you never guess I understand you " ..sometimes I even made a comment like " wow, Finnish people, wohoo! " - we are just too small nation. Only 5 million people.. we cant reach everywhere.. but we try! yes!
and other things as well.. goes like bang bang bang..
like gifts dropping from heaven in front of me!
for instance the flights I bought..suddenly appears a supersale and I paid 49e for my flight, 1.90e for my baby .. direct flight Helsinki Barcelona..I mean really! cant be cheaper than that!

Home... Ive got a chaos.. going through stuff and clothes and what to take now and what to take later.. trying to remember how hot is September in BCN.. its still high season.. the beach should still be there.. waiting for me! Marc also has swimming gear.. hmm..maybe he gets to feel the magic of the Mediterranean Sea as well.. ok, not maybe.-He will ! mommy loves the beach too much :)
Finnish MOOMINS - Ofcourse!
Ive got so much stuff for my baby from my friends.. big biiiig hugs kisses and loooove to all my friends who emptied their closets and basements and brought us baby stuff. Ofcourse I had nothing anymore left when Marc was born.. all sold years ago :) Now ive got only clothes so much.. he needs nothing! There are couple huge boxes in my basement I have to go get and go through as well before we leave.

funny how dude has grown so much that this bag is already full of clothes too small.. ready to recycle for the next mommy!
One thing I will give up.. sniff.. I remember buying this babycot.. it was the cutest thing I had ever seen.. and its too small now :) and to be honest.. Marc has only slept on it the nights his dad has been visiting FIN... other time he sleeps with me .. but isn't it cute.. hih.
Have a goodnight sleep, you, the one sleeping in it next..
Well, ok its not too small.. its just that this duracel bunny moves so much that he doesnt stay there more than couple minutes.. too dangerous. I dont know what ADHD I have here with me.. but he sure moves a lot and its all he wants to do.. and gets soooooooo angry at himself cuz he cant yet, not enough muscles.. and I laugh " sweetie.. take it easy.. you dont have to know that yet".. but stubborn little man, Aries as he is.. Keeps on trying until he falls asleep.
My baby has also shown some real signs of his Mediterranian blood..
he loves to eat and he loves the water!
and he is already a world traveller.. been on plane and on Catalan train. We will be just perfect!
.. but must say.. even though Im very excited of my second home in BCN..

its gonna be long 5 months for us.. to only see each others every 3 weeks.. but we will make it! we have talked about this alot and we will make it. They are so big already that they have their own phones and we can skype when ever we want.. hmm.. I think they will get their own tablet when mommy leaves, so no need to wait turns with Daddys computer to see my blog or skype with us... They know where we are and have a list already of things I have to bring on September. Barcelona is their second home too...5 months will go fast. We can do this!
Better not forget what they asked to bring! or they get angry..
